Granite Peak Roofing
A concept site for a fictional Denver-area roofing contractor, built to demonstrate how we design and structure a lead-generating contractor website.
Granite Peak Roofing is a fictional company. We built this concept using our own production system to demonstrate how we would approach a lead-generating website for a roofing contractor — it has not been sold, launched, or operated as a real business.
The Objective
Give a roofing contractor a homepage that tells a visitor within seconds whether this company serves their area and problem — storm damage, a leak, or a full replacement — and gets them to request a quote before they bounce to a competitor.
The Solution
A trust-first hero naming the exact service area and company type, a service structure that treats insurance claims as a first-class offering rather than a footnote, and a single config-driven content model so the same system can be re-skinned for the next contractor client without rebuilding pages.

Trust-first hero
The hero leads with a clear service area and company type ("Residential & Commercial Roofing in Denver, CO") rather than a vague tagline, so a visitor knows within seconds whether this company serves them.
Deep forest + warm clay palette
A desaturated forest green paired with a warm terracotta accent reads as established and trustworthy rather than templated contractor-site blue, while still leaving room for a strong CTA color.
Config-driven content model
Every piece of copy, every service, service area, and image reference is typed data in a single configuration file — not hardcoded in components. That's what makes the underlying system reusable across contractor clients.
Insurance-claim-aware service structure
Storm Damage & Insurance Claims is modeled as its own first-class service, not a footnote — a detail that matters specifically for roofing and matters less for other trades.
Technical Implementation
- Next.js App Router with TypeScript, deployed as a statically-optimized site.
- A single typed configuration object drives the homepage, services, service-area pages, and metadata — launching a new client site means replacing this file's values, not rebuilding pages.
- Dynamic routes for individual services (/services/[slug]) and service areas (/service-areas/[slug]), generated from the same config.
- A server-action contact form with server-side validation and a honeypot field against bot submissions.
- Email delivery is provider-gated: if no email provider is configured, the form explicitly reports demo mode instead of pretending a submission was sent.
- robots.ts and sitemap.ts generated from the same config for SEO out of the box.
A note on honesty: All photography in the underlying demo is licensed stock, clearly labeled as demo imagery — none of it depicts a real company's crews, jobs, or properties. This page describes real design and engineering decisions behind a real production system — it does not claim any business results, customer reviews, or completed jobs, because none exist for this concept.
